Investigating the Effectiveness of Transdiagnostic Treatment on Maladaptive Personality Traits and Mentalized Affectivity of Patients With Generalized Anxiety Disorder Comorbid With Depression: A Case Study

Objective: This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of transdiagnostic treatment on maladaptive personality traits and mentalized affectivity patients with generalized anxiety disorder comorbid depression. Methods: was a quasi-experimental single case method. The statistical population included people depression who were referred counseling centers in Isfahan City, Iran 2020. From this population, 5 selected via purposive sampling they intervened through weekly sessions held individually. subjects assessed at baseline, third, fifth, eighth, tenth sessions, during 1-month follow-up period using short version adult diagnostic manual mental disorders, fifth edition, questionnaire, scale. To report data, we used visual analysis, reliable change index, improvement percentage, clinical significance. Results: percentage improvement, index (RCI≥1/96), showed that created statistically significant changes components, negative affectivity, detachment; however, it did not have effect other (antagonism, disinhibition, psychoticism).
